The Crown Brewery site included the Music House (Crown Brewery pub) and what is now Wensum Lodge (brewery yard and malthouses). It was gradually acquired by the firm of brewers variously known as Busley; Youngs & Roe; Youngs & Burt; Crawshays & Youngs; and Crawshays, Youngs & Youngs over the years.
