Quintain Mews, off Sussex Street

The 19 dwellings were built on the site of Sussex House, a former office block of Norwich Union (Aviva), which was demolished in 2012. The close is named after its proximity to a former medieval jousting area, the Jousting Acre: a quintain is a swivelling target used for jousting practice.
