What appears to be an early (and seemingly elaborate) design for a wind turbine. I have never seen it turn or re-orientate into the wind in the 2 years I've been living nearby and indeed, on close inspection appears to be in a state of disrepair, with one of the guidance turbines having fallen off since Image] was taken. A little bizarre to see it still there on the landscape, to this day, still clearly visible from the A394 Falmouth to Helston main road - I wonder if it has some form of listed status due to its age?! It has however found a new use since the first image was taken - it now has two mobile phone antennae situated just behind the main turbine.
