The Grange Centre for People with Disabilities was founded in 1938 as The School of Stitchery and Lace by an accomplished needlewoman, Miss Julia Sweet. It now provides accommodation, care support and skills training and activities for people with learning and other disabilities. The main building was originally a private house, dating from the mid 19th Century. This is one of the outbuildings, Rae Lodge.
