Northern (Arriva UK) Class 195 3-car DMU 195103 sets off for Warrington on a test run. 30 3-car and 25 2-car CAF Civity diesel units are being built in Spain for Northern. It is planned to start operational service in December. Introduction of the new trains will enable the old Pacers to be withdrawn. Some equivalent electric units have also been ordered.
