Revisiting the scene in September 2018, none of the four businesses was still trading at this location. From left to right : No 46-48 was Carlisle Toys & Hobbies, now Savers discount store; No 44 was coco bay, now Slater Tanning Studio; No 42A was Hodgsons Newsagents, now Anystyle Barbers; No 42 was Argos, currently empty (one of two Argos stores in Carlisle, this branch relocated to Sainsbury's at Caldewgate in 2018).
