Looking south along the main village street towards Bradfield Farmhouse - white-painted and very substantial. I find it entertaining - and not at all difficult - to imagine away the SLOW sign, the wheely-bin, the overhead wires, and even the tarmac. Things can't have changed all that much here in the last 120 years.
