The location name "butts" usually refers to a place for archery practice, and it is often at a road junction, perhaps on the outskirts of the village after which it is named. The only slight mystery in this case is that I can find no other place called Halwinnick. On the far side of the junction is Image The lane ahead goes to Kersbrook Cross; left for Coad's Green and eventually, as the stone says, "Camelforde".
