Coastguard, police and Adur Watch get together to plan how to tackle the current problem, which presumably is pilfering of cargo washed up on the beach. This would be in possession of the Receiver of Wreck. The "Ice Prince" was wrecked off Devon a few days earlier and lost its deck cargo of 2000 tonnes of timber. A lot of this ended up along the beaches of Sussex.
