The valley, draining to the left, is about to join the Lynher valley about a kilometre downstream from Bathpool. Long fields, many of them recently combined into broader ones, run up the valley side, and probably reflect the enclosure of common fields. The isolated farm building on the left is just a metre or two over the gridline into Image
