Opened in 1879 as "Mill Hill Park" by the Metropolitan District Railway on the line from Central London via Turnham Green to Ealing Broadway, it was renamed "Acton Town" in 1910 and rebuilt in its current form in 1932. Forecourt looking east. Like 55% of the London Underground network, this part is actually overground.
