Very attractive village at the foot of the North York Moors escarpment - famous for the White Horse cut into the hillside on nearby Roulston Scar, and Mouseman Thompson, whose furniture carries a small carved mouse. The National Park boundary follows the centre of the road, with everything on the right of the photo inside. On the left, you are out!
