Littleworth Drove approaching Hop Pole

This major road, the A16 from Grimsby to Stamford, links the east coast port to the A1 and the main arterial routes across the country. It passes Spalding, the major processing town for this vegetable growing region. Needless to say it is a very busy road. As it passes through the ribbon development village of Hop Pole the speed limit is dropped a meagre 10 miles per hour from 60 to 50.
