Probably the headmasters house of the school. Grants were available for such houses after 1843. Built in 1847 in a Tudor Domestic Revival style at the same time as the school. The house is listed, grade II, with details at: https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1261943
