Warkworth House Hotel, Bridge Street, Warkworth is Grade II* Listed (List entry Number: 1154938): https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1154938 It was originally built as a house in 1822 for John Forster. On retiring from the service of the great London brewing house of Calvert & Co., he purchased part of the fittings of Brandenburgh House, the London residence of Queen Caroline, and brought to Warkworth a bronze staircase, some marble chimney-pieces, and other furniture.
