- Gun Testing Butts: DoB ID: e34117 Located on Hooton Park Karting track, formerly the northern edge of the airfield of RAF Hooton Park. It was used to align an aircraft's wing mounted guns to converge fire at a fixed point ahead, typically to enable a concentrated cone of fire at 200 yards. Image
