The Avenue, Spinningfields

Spinningfields is the area of Manchester city centre between Deansgate and the River Irwell which was redeveloped in the 2000s creating twenty new commercial, residential and retail buildings. This photograph shows one of the pedestrian avenues leading from Deansgate to the river. One of the “Bee in the City sculptures (#46 “Love”) is near the front of the photo.
