Rather officious first impression created here by gate pillars, but no gate, with warning signs forbidding unauthorised parking, with risk of being clamped and fined etc, but the authority and dignity may be somewhat undermined by the other signage indicating 'dead slow residents crossing'.... Made me smile anyway.
