After all these years I'd only just noticed the name. It may be one of the first houses built in the New Town, from 1808. When I was new to Leamington in 1984 this was the Regent Dairy. It had a cool white-tiled interior and actually sold milk and groceries. It changed hands, sold bedlinen and cottons. Currently it's L'Occitane, selling "natural skin care and beauty products", one of the many boutiques and small independent shops in the street. On the right is the entrance to former Image, occupying the corner of Regent Street and the Parade and home to Warwick District Council's Amenities department for some years until all departments were moved into one building: Image in Milverton Hill.
