Recently released from First Great Western services, HST's are finding a new home with Scotrail. 43127 runs through farmland near Bardrill Road with the 3H01 driver training run from Glasgow Queen Street to Perth. Sister locomotive 43021 was bringing up the rear of the 4-car set. It is intended that the HST's will replace Class 170 diesel units on services from Edinburgh and Glasgow to Stirling, Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness.
