A statue of the author of the Sherlock Holmes novels which stands near Crowborough crossroads. The inscription on the plinth reads: "Sir Arthur Conan Doyle resident of Crowborough 1907 - 1930". The statue was sculpted by David Cornell in 2000 and installed at Cloke's Corner in 2001.
