The Liberator B24 bomber "Hookem Cow" crashed 14th April 1945, shortly after take off from Horsham St. Faiths killing five of the seven crew on board. The memorial refers to a rose which seems to have since died off. The memorial reads: This rose is in honour of the crew of B24 Liberator bomber 42 - 95120 "Hookem Cow" of 754 Sq. 458th BG A.A.F. Horsham St. Faiths, which crashed in this garden on April 14th 1945 shortly after take off." "2nd Lt. David R. Totten, Pilot (KIA) 1st Lt. Joseph J. Szoke, Co-pilot (KIA) 2nd Lt. Lewis L.
