The picture shows beach huts, east of the pier, roughly opposite First Avenue at the top of the cliff. They were installed recently (I think 2017) to be accessible to disabled people. They sit directly on the beach. A ramp nearby leads down the cliff from the upper promenade (on the level of the nearest road) to the lower promenade. Another slope connects the lower promenade with the sand. Other beach huts sit on the lower promenade and the beach can be accessed from them only via steps.
