Part of this site was occupied by a Card Works back in 1893, and later by Salford Works, which was redeveloped as Salford Works and was last occupied by electrical contractors. This building had been demolished by 2006, but amazingly Robinson Mech-Elec Limited are still listed at this address in the Cyclex website! Now 65 apartments for old people including those with dementia are being constructed. I was rather surprised that the building will be seven storeys here at the bottom of the hill, four storeys at the top. I was also surprised at the depth of soil, expecting there to be rock. See Image and Image for previous images of the site.
