Looking towards Ferndown as reports come in of a significant fire on common around the back of Ferndown town centre - probably in Image The area has seen only two bursts of rain, both less than an hour, in the whole of June and July, with hot sunshine and there have been numerous fires on the plentiful heathland in the area.
