Part of the huge Elveden Estate, one of the largest farms in England. The in-hand farm at Elveden extends to some 10,000 acres. The principal crops grown are potatoes, onions, carrots, wheat and rye. The soils are light textured, free-draining and easy to work but prone to drought.
