This picture shows Elim Pentecostal Church at the corner of Alexandra Road (the road receding to left of picture) and Hayes Road. The photograph was taken from the opposite corner of the two streets. The Town Hall (in red-brick) is partially visible behind the church. Clacton Library can be seen in the background beyond the Town Hall, facing the end of Alexandra Road (it is the grey building of modern appearance with tall, narrow windows).
