Haughton Hall dairy is a very big dairy farm with a prominent concrete tower silo. This silo is not in use, probably due to the high costs involved with filling and emptying the towers. Some also suffer from corrosion of the re-inforcing steel. The rest of the farm buildings are modern dairy cow milking and housing.
