The Regent Cinema was built to a design by architect William Henry Watkins and opened in 1937. All but the facade was destroyed by fire in March 2016, and is yet to be rebuilt - http://lyme-online.co.uk/news/lyme-regis/architects-work-on-third-proposal-for-regent-cinema-rebuild/.
