A group of 3 cottages, the centre one (with the grey thatched dormer) being the oldest, dating from around 1500. The half-timbering of this section is early 20th century cladding, with the original cruck framing now concealed. The newly thatched wing originates from the 16th century but was heavily rebuilt in brick in the early-mid 18th century. The new thatch includes some fine pattern work and animal sculptures on the ridge. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5848333 http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5848335 The right hand end is 17th century with 20th century refurbishment. Listed Grade II.
