Plaque attached: To Commemorate the Silver Jubilee of H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH II 1952 - 1977 also remembering the gallant R.A.F. 115 and 196 Squadrons stationed at Witchford 1939 - 45 plaque presented by WITCHFORD W.I. 1983. In fact RAF Witchford was only operational from November 1943. These were both bomber squadrons.
