Colas Rail class 37 No. 37219 is seen on track data recording duties (with extra, technical equipment mounted on its ends) on Bassaleg Viaduct, on its way to Machen Quarry. The viaduct is reputed to be the oldest railway viaduct still in regular operational use in the world.
