What's left of the railway bridge abutment

The abutment was part of the Waveney Valley Line railway bridge which went over the road at this point. The large dip which was often flooded during heavy rains was filled at roughly the same time the bridge was dismantled. It was a low bridge and many lorries had to take an alternative route.
