GoGoHares - Norfolk Rising

For 11 weeks during the summer of 2018, 50 beautifully painted hare sculptures are on display at strategic locations in the city of Norwich. The sculptures will be sold by auction in September, with the proceeds going to the Norfolk charity 'Break'. The hare sculpture called 'Norfolk Rising' can be seen by the entrance into the castle grounds from Castle Meadow (seen in background). It was painted by Kathleen Smith and is sponsored by First Eastern Counties Bus Services who provide services not only in Norwich but also in Great Yarmouth, Ipswich and Lowestoft in addition to inter-urban services across much of Norfolk and Suffolk.
