Dating from 1894 in simple Early English style and C-listed (LB9067): http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB9067 . Drostan was a companion of St Columba and arrived in the north east of Scotland in around 560 and founded the abbey at New Deer: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drostan .
