Looking north from the entrance door. In later years when in use, the box was split into two parts by the partition that is visible, and this section used as a mess room for railway staff while the north end of the box was retained for the signalling work. This part of the box will see a restored lever frame used for operational purposes by the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway when they start running trains into the station again. Beyond the partition the box will have a new public entrance and another restored lever frame to demonstrate how these once common mechanical boxes were operated.
