Within the Perpendicular porch is this fine late Norman doorway. Pevsner notes "one order of colonnettes with scallop capitals and a round arch already with Early English mouldings". St Mary's is listed Grade I https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101114064-church-of-st-mary-everton
