The westernmost block of buildings on the north side of South Parade is grade 2 listed (list entry 1258750). At the far end it includes Church House (with the portico), formerly the offices of the Diocese of Wakefield Image and now housing the Bishop of Wakefield, Archdeacon of Pontefract and their support staff.
