The farmhouse is described as newly built in some deeds dated 1677. Timber-framed and partly rebuilt in brick in the late 18th century, the house is listed, grade II, with details at: https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1182878 Seen from the footpath.
