Kings College for the Arts & Technology opened in September 2000 for students from the age of 11 to 18 including the International Baccalaureate, the world class alternative to A levels post–16. Kings College is managed by 3Es Enterprises and the first privately managed state school. Kings College became a Technology College as from September 2002.
