Sion Road is one of the finest roads in Twickenham. It dates from the early 18th century and Sion Row is the best known part of it. This impressive looking elevated porch is at the end nearest the river - see also http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5815052 The plaque just on the edge of the picture at the top says 'Sion Row 1721'.
