Entrance to the Purbeck Mineral & Mining museum

Situated at Norden station on the Swanage Railway. A small volunteer run museum that is dedicated to the history of Purbeck Ball Clay mining and the industrial heritage of Purbeck and the Purbeck narrow gauge railways. The clay industry was a major employer in Corfe Castle and the surrounding villages from the end of the 18th Century.
