Normally elusive, and not too happy to be photographed, on this occasion he allowed me to fetch the camera and take a couple of photographs. This was shortly before residents, in a neighbouring property where he spends much of his time, cut back overgrown ivy above his hiding place. He is blind in his left eye, as a result of an old injury which I first noticed in January 2017.
