The evening sunlight catches the apartment blocks overlooking Prince of Wales Dock. The dock was originally opened in 1881 by the then Prince of Wales and enlarged to its present size of 27 acres in 1898. Commercial use is now a thing of the past and the area is undergoing redevelopment, with plans for an extensive marina.
