This small cafe was named "The Cog" a few years ago when it set out to attract cyclists. While the cyclist-oriented notices have disappeared from inside the cafe, undoubted due to a change of ownership, a temporary banner advertising a cycling event has appeared on the outside railings. The cafe was previously known, for a short time, as "Tringfellows" and 50 years ago was a fishmonger's shop.
