I well remember taking this photograph, for it was pouring with rain and it was a case of rushing out of the station, taking the photograph, and rushing back and hoping the camera had not got too wet. The Clayton West line was closed soon afterwards and was replaced by a miniature railway: all very well, but it did not go to Huddersfield.
