The remains of a ski lift in the trees at the site of the old Wycombe Summit Ski Centre, Once the longest dry ski slope in the country, the venture closed in 2005 after a fire destroyed the facilities at the top of the slope. Rumours of reopening came and went, but the site was finally earmarked for housing in 2016. To this date it is still derelict, although a sign at the blocked off gate warns of Dangerous Site Investigations, whatever that might be.
