- Pillbox (type FW3/28A): DoB ID: S0005898 A type 28A anti-tank gun emplacement with two compartments is situated at the confluence of Downholland Brook and the River Alt. Unfortunately it has attracted the attention of vandals in recent times, and as a result attempts have been made to seal off access to the interior by the landowner. It comprises a side annexe attached to the much larger main room containing three embrasures that gave covering fire, whilst the main room has one embrasure on the RH side (also for covering fire), and a much larger embrasure for a 6 pdr anti-tank gun in the front.
