The Highland Hotel dates from 1770 and is Category C listed [http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB24690]. All the other properties on that side of the road are also Category C listed. Kilmadock Parish Church is Category B listed [http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB24697].
