A gaping hole in the Burton Hotel

On the 24 April, a few weeks ago, a lorry crashed into and demolished the portico and Doric columns at the front of this hotel causing a gaping hole in the front of the Burton Hotel. Fortunately no-one was injured. The portico dated from the mid-18th century.
